Digital X-rays

Turlock Dental Care is proud to offer digital x-rays to provide images of your teeth. Digital technology works directly with computer software to upload images that are accurate and of high quality. These images allow our doctors to examine areas of your mouth carefully, and provide a quick and accurate diagnosis.

During your exam, a sensor will be gently placed in your mouth. The sensor will work directly with our computer-aided technology to produce digital images instantly while you relax in the exam chair. The process is painless and easy, and images are ready quickly for our doctors to review.

Using this technology can allow our team of doctors to address any issues with your smile early on, and avoid future complications. Digital x-rays are safe and reduce radiation exposure compared to other traditional x-ray technology. Our digital system makes it easy to store each patient’s records and transfer the records easily. Records can be easily compared from prior digital images, and have the ability to highlight differences to further enhance the image. This feature helps to identify changes in your oral health.

Laser Dentistry

Turlock Dental Care is happy to be able to offer the benefits of laser dentistry to our patients. Laser dentistry can help patients remain relaxed and pain-free during an appointment. The laser technology eliminates the need for a dental drill and can help treat tooth decay and gum disease. Patients do not have to hear the sound of a drill anymore, and laser dentistry can be used on both children and adults. Laser dentistry does not require anesthesia and the area treated can heal faster with no need for sutures.

Laser Dentistry Can Help Treat:

  • Tooth decay
  • Gum disease
  • Lesion removal
  • Teeth whitening

The dental laser uses a gentle wand that emits energy with a light to vaporize decay or inflamed tissue in the mouth. This technology is minimally invasive and promotes gum health and healing. The process is painless, minimizes bleeding, and keeps healthy tissue intact. The dental laser does not require removing as much of the healthy tooth while treating decay compared to a traditional drill. Patients can leave our office without worrying about feeling numb and can return to their normal routine directly after their appointment.

Our dental team is proud to offer CEREC technology to our Turlock, California office. This convenient technology allows our doctors to create multiple types of restorations right in our office. CEREC technology has the ability to make restorations quickly and accurately and does not require messy impressions. This decreases the time spent in our office and you no longer have to wait for a lab to create your restoration.

CEREC Technology Restorations

This saves time and the records are stored electronically for future reference and review. The process allows the patient to breathe and swallow easily, and treatment can start and stop if the patient needs a break.

iTero Digital Impression Technology Is Used For:

  • Crowns
  • Bridges
  • Implants
  • Invisalign/Clear aligners
  • Retainers

iTero is extremely accurate and helps to create precise restorations that fit comfortably in the mouth. Using the iTero digital scanner our doctors can provide each patient with a picture of your smile. This helps patients to see what their smile results will look like before treatment begins. At Turlock dental care our goal is to provide exceptional service and a positive experience.

Our doctors at Turlock Dental Care are proud to offer Cari-Scan technology to help detect and examine your teeth and mouth while you visit our office. At Turlock Dental Care we do everything to prevent major dental issues. Cari-Scan helps identify decay early on and gives our doctors the ability to treat issues before complications develop. During your appointment, our dentists use a tool to scan the entire oral cavity. The scanning tool works directly with computer technology to identify areas of concern and monitor those areas over time. This technology helps our doctors address urgent issues, create treatment plans, and maintain your oral health. Turlock Dental Care strives to provide the very best dental care using the latest technology. Our patients can feel comfortable knowing they are receiving exceptional care when they visit our office.

CT Scanner

Turlock Dental Care offers CT scanning technology to all of our patients. This technology uses a cone beam-type x-ray to take 3-dimensional facial images. CT scanning includes images of your teeth, tissues, nerves, and bone. The process is easy and does not require any preparation. During your appointment, the scanner will rotate around your head to take a 360-degree image. The process can take between 20-40 seconds and is painless. These CT images allow our doctors to see areas that traditional x-rays cannot provide, and help our team to create the very best treatment plan.

CT scanners are safe and reduce radiation exposure to produce quality and precise imaging. Doctors can view single or multiple images and angles to help with complex cases, diagnoses, and treatment. Images are stored digitally and records can be sent out or transferred easily.

Intraoral Cameras

Turlock Dental Care is proud to offer intra-oral camera technology for our patients. This technology provides the ability to capture images of your teeth and mouth in hard-to-reach areas. Intra-oral cameras can detect problems in areas that can not be seen by the naked eye. This can help detect issues early on and prevent complications in the future.

During your appointment, our doctors will use a small pen-like device to scan your mouth and take images. The process is quick and painless and works directly with computer technology to produce quality images instantly. Our doctors can show patients their images and discuss and explain why treatment may be necessary.

Images are stored digitally for future review, transferring, or monitoring. Our doctors can produce accurate treatment plans using intraoral camera technology and keep your oral health in check. Turlock Dental Care continues to bring in the latest technology to further enhance our patient experience, making visits comfortable and stress-free.
